Dear LWAAAC Member, 

Welcome to the Leisure World Association for African American Culture (LWAAAC). On behalf of the board and general membership, I am so pleased that you have renewed your membership or joined our association. Your membership period covers July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025. Together, we will ensure that the legacy of LWAAAC lives on. 

LWAAAC is the central point within Leisure World that connects, supports, and encourages all residents in the commitment and promotion of our heritage and culture. And we are proud that the size and scope of the association is ever-growing. 

We cannot wait to share all that the 2024-2025 period has to offer. We will continue with traditional events and new initiatives through June 2025 which will include celebrating our 30th anniversary in December. To stay informed of our activities, I encourage you to visit our website at lwaaac.com and read the LWAAAC articles that appear in the Leisure World newspaper. 

Our next general membership meeting is Wednesday, October 2, 2024, in the Activities Room, Clubhouse II, at 4 p.m. and I look forward to seeing you there.
